Hi Bernard
Thanks for putting me straight regarding the Xmas tree! I guess it makes sense to spread the big tree love around the country :-)
How wonderful to have spent New Years in Lisbon. I can't do it this year but next year - I hope so.

Hi Lily...An excellent site this certainly is. My wife and I are frequent visitors to Lisbon and the last two years we have celebrated New Year in Commercial Square. Unfortunately the giant Christmas tree does not stand in the square every year. Last New Year it stood in Porto.

Thanks Lily! It's been months of hard work, and I've just bought a new camera as well. The exhibition at night looks fantastic. I went during the day when it was quite hot.

Talk soon!

Hi Helen
Your blog has certainly grown - looks great!
I didn't see this exhibition although it reminded me that there was another exhibition on at the time of beautiful old pictures of Lisbon and Portugal. I'd forgotten about that!
I have just found a link to the exhibition you mentioned for anyone else reading this.

Hi Lily

I don't know if you remember me, but you were actually the very first visitor to my blog many months ago! I loved Praca do Comercio when I was there a few years ago. There was a stunning open air photography exhibition there, by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. Did you see it?

This is a great resource by the way. Thanks!
