Welcome to In Love with Lisbon - one woman’s love affair with the beautiful city and the land of Portugal. I hope you enjoy browsing the pages here. My aim is to make this a resource for all things connected with this Lisbon and also Portugal in general.     Good morning!

    I have to say, this is one of the only places on the Internet that I keep on coming back to and see what you have new, to share with all who love Lisbon and Portugal in general!

    Mine is quite a long story and who knows, I might start a blog to tell it all and add, as you do, what happens to me from now on.

    I am referring to Lisbon and to so many different occurrences in connection with Portugal.

    Thank you for your stories, articles, observations, anecdotes and everything else you add to your blog!

    Hi there,

    I just wanted to tell you - I’m completely, utterly, in love with Lisbon too! I was so glad to come across your blog before I headed to Lisbon and used some of your tips and I can’t take to get back. I love the city, the language, the food, the people, the fado, the culture… everything! My dream is to save up and live there for 3 months over a summer.

    Glad to meet another lover of Lisbon :-) Fantastic place isn’t it. I do hope you achieve your dream. I hope to move over there in the future. I don’t know when yet - I just keep thinking those positive thoughts and learning Portuguese! I’m going back over to visit in October though so more material for the site x

    First of all thanks for visiting my blog, and second congratulations on yours! Lisbon surely deserves the best, and although I always feel that it’s so hard to put down in words why is Lisbon so different from everywhere else, I can’t be less than happy while knowing that someone else also writes about my (our) city.
